Director of Operations
The Director of Operation’s primary responsibilities include outreach and caregiver engagement. These responsibilities include reviewing applications, contacting applicants, setting up, and conducting interviews (meet and greets). If the applicant is a qualified candidate, you will walk them through step by step with the onboarding process. You will follow up with them to see if they have questions and ensure online training gets completed.
The Director of Operations will also contact current caregivers to check in on them and see how things are going. We want to get input from them on how we can make our caregivers happy and continue to provide the best care possible. You will keep a log of these calls/visits and input any pertinent information that we need to know for corrective actions or things the caregivers enjoy.
The Director of Operations will oversee disciplinary actions. When speaking to a caregiver or bringing a caregiver in for disciplinary action there should be two office staff present.
This position is also responsible for outreach and community engagement. Keeping a log of contact personnel, phone number, email address of the appropriate contact that we should be reaching out to, and the last date that we contacted. When we are doing outreach, we should be providing brochures, business cards, pens, and any other “swag” that is available. Please let Ty know when swag is getting low.
You will also be working with the Client Care Coordinator on schedule, along with any day-to-day tasks that the Client Care Coordinator or Executive Director needs assistance with.
There will also be a 24/7 on-call rotation. As of right now, the rotation will be every 3rd week. You will be expected to handle the calls coming in. If you have questions, it is reaching out to the Executive Director with any questions. When the executive director is on their on-call week you will be expected to be available every other week the executive director has the phone for emergency shift coverage positions.
