What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handling day-to-day administrative tasks like managing emails, scheduling meetings, and keeping records organized.
- Using Canva to design eye-catching marketing materials and social media content.
- Providing top-notch customer service—whether answering member inquiries or welcoming visitors with a friendly smile.
- Helping plan and execute events that promote workforce development and inspire young people to explore careers in the trades.
- Collaborating with our team to boost engagement and participation in our programs.
- Connecting with schools and community groups to spread the word about opportunities in the trades.
- Assisting the Executive Vice President with various tasks to support our mission.
- Keeping documents and data well-organized using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Helping out with occasional evening and weekend events—because making a difference doesn’t always happen M-F or 9 to 5!
What You Bring to the Table:
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Stellar organizational skills—you can juggle multiple tasks like a pro.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (bonus points if you have Canva experience!).
- A friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service to our members and community.
- A passion for workforce development and encouraging the next generation to explore careers in the trades.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
