LAB ASSISTANT / MLT

Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology. Report test results following clinic protocols, ensure quality control in collecting specimens, maintain equipment and comply with all policies and OSHA regulations. Perform phlebotomy. Position does require occasional early evenings and weekends.
Education requirement of one of the following :
- Diploma in Lab Assisting, Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field, and (1) year of clinical laboratory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- or- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and graduate from an HHS-approved laboratory training program.
