Qualifications : License / Certification
CPR certification
Responsibilities :
Assure quality healthcare to pediatric patients.
Facilitate timely starts and efficiency for all appointments.
Ensure quality care during an emergency.
Take vital signs and review patient chief complaint and history of present illness.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Complete OSHA training and follow all regulations including medical waste disposal.
Telephone triage.
Optional after-hours telephone call.
Schedule appointments as needed using electronic medical software.
Complete referrals and prior authorizations.
Assist provider with minor procedures.
Administer immunizations and medications.
Respect dignity, confidentiality, and privacy of patients.
Good verbal and behavioral skills.
Maintain a positive attitude while communicating and interacting with patients and staff.
Self-management and organizational skills are required to work in a fast-paced environment.
Other duties as assigned.
