We are looking for a flexible, creative teacher to plan and implement the high school English content, as well as support other classes for our high school students. The English schedule includes English 1, English 2 (Speech), English 3 (American Literature) and English 4 (British Literature and Senior Experience). The schedule will also include supporting the middle school, though the levels of support depends on the individual hired.
We are located in the beautiful Southern Black Hills and teach in a four-day school week (160-day teaching contract). Come teach in an innovative, student-centered environment! Our district is working to customize the learning of our 35 high school students, and we offer the flexibility and autonomy for teachers to really meet learners at their learning levels. High school teachers are supported by a technology integrationist, the special education teacher, and, in needed classes, a paraprofessional.
