Hours:
Week One: Monday and Tuesday 7:00pm to 1:30am Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30pm to 1:00am and Sunday from 6:00pm to 1:30am
Week Two: Monday 7:30pm to 1:30am, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1:00pm to 1:00am
General Description of the Position:
The ability to supervise other individuals ensuring their work is completed correctly and the facility is operational. The supervisor shall be available during normal duty hours and have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to the daily operation of this contract, during the absence of the Contract Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in food service supervisory role.
- Must be able to pass required criminal background checks and drug test.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of food operation services.
- Must have a valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Satisfy the dining facility manager and guests in reference to the timeliness of service and the courteousness of employees.
- Ensure quality, maintain the interior and exterior of the Raider's Cafe dining facility in a clean and sanitary condition.
- When providing contingency service, ensure that the cooks and serving line personnel do not present a negative impact on food service operation during contingency periods.
- Ensure all employees receive the required training and follow all proper safety procedures when operating or cleaning any equipment.
- Ensure and enforce that all employees do not remove any food items from the dining facility and inform them that they are expected to purchase all meals and food items at the listed price.
- Check and make sure the necessary supplies and materials are available to serve the customers.
- Assist the Prevocational Instructor (PVI) with the AbilityOne assessments that are required and assist with vocational duties as necessary.
- Follow work schedules and complete daily time sheets, ensuring staff and person's served time is documented accurately.
- Follow established work area procedures and policies.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with government personnel.
- Ensure that all quality elements according to the SOW are fulfilled prior to the end of the shift.
- Complete all required paperwork.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
