Position Summary:
As a Workforce Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing logistics management and ensuring coordination of staffing schedules to meet operational needs. You will manage and optimize scheduling patterns, build strong relationships with teams you work with, and regularly conduct satisfaction surveys to assess team engagement. You will supervise superimposed staff, collaborating closely with team members to foster effective communication and a positive work environment. Additionally, you will track and minimize staff overtime, generate and analyze staffing metrics, and ensure efficient resource allocation. You will attend administrative meetings, facilitate staff training, and participate in on-call availability to ensure operational continuity.
Education and Experience:
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate through verbal and written mediums.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to pass drug test.
- Ability to pass criminal background investigation.
- Proven capability to effectively manage a wide range of responsibilities.
- Adapt to changing circumstances and approach challenges using critical thinking.
- Be able to effectively use and learn various software programs.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee superimposed staff by maintaining open communication about performance and processes, including providing feedback.
- Scheduling replacement staff to provide vacancy coverage.
- Approving, tracking, and reporting various time and payroll metrics
- Assisting managers with coverage solutions and other relevant considerations while prioritizing the highest level of care for the individuals we serve.
- Lead, teach, coach and ensure accountability with software use.
- Serve on organizational committees and provide training for leadership and Residential Supervisor teams as required.
- Support residential teams in problem-solving and accessing additional support services as needed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and empowerment among teams, promoting transparent communication and decision-making.
