We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. Duties
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to develop precise bids.
- Collaborate with project management teams to understand project scope and requirements.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for accurate estimating and assess potential challenges.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, implementing cost control measures as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing for future projects.
