We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. Duties
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to develop precise bids.
- Collaborate with project management teams to understand project scope and requirements.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for accurate estimating and assess potential challenges.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, implementing cost control measures as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing for future projects.
