Robotic Structural Steel Machine Operator

Position Summary:
The Machine Operator will safely operate robotic cutting equipment, ensuring quality control throughout the production process. This position involves material handling and requires a high level of attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow and close out work orders accurately.
• Safely operate machinery for structural steel processing and fabrication.
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality assurance.
• Record quality data in workbooks and submit detailed reports for each job.
• Assist in training and mentoring new employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Basic blueprint reading knowledge is a plus.
• Solid math skills are a plus.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions accurately.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
