Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our standards of excellence. The Painter will work on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, and may also assist with maintenance person tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint using various techniques, including airless paint spraying, brush, and roller methods.
- Mix paints and match colors according to color theory principles.
- Perform fixture installation and maintain painted surfaces to ensure longevity.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters for trim carpentry tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs on existing painted surfaces as needed.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with stucco application techniques is a plus.
- Experience with maintenance person tasks such as welding or basic carpentry is desirable.
- Strong understanding of color theory and painting techniques.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
