Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing 91.411 and 91.413 Certifications on both fixed wing and rotorcraft. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft systems, as well as proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment. The Avionics Technician may have to travel out of state to perform certifications depending on customers needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform 91.411 and 91.413 certifications and inspections on altitude reporting systems.
- Troubleshoot defects in altitude reporting systems.
- Document all maintenance activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Collaborate with engineering teams to perform root cause analysis on system failures or malfunctions.
- Maintain compliance with Part 145 Repair Station Satellite base requirements.
- Provide support and customer relations
Experience
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically with avionics systems.
- Familiarity with altitude reporting systems and airframe components is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computer software for record keeping
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques to diagnose issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
