Job Type Full-timeDescriptionChildren's ministry in Western North Carolina is seeking a Foster Care Case Coordinator to complete case management duties for licensed foster families. Qualities sought include : Essential Functions : Provide direct supervision to assigned foster families, including but not limited to coaching, follow-up and accountability in accordance to structure home visit requirementsWork alongside foster families to serve as the bridge between the family and the county DSS agenciesResponsible for accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policy and state regulationsApply advance child welfare knowledge to develop plans of service to establish the appropriate interventions to be provided for each child on caseload and to ensure complianceAssist foster families and the child in accomplishing service plan goals and ensuring progress towards goals are documentedCover on-call when assigned, which include responding to emergency situations after hours on a rotating basisRequirementsMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an appropriately accredited institution; bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience; bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
