We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Server and Cashier to join our team in the Espresso Bar at Black Oak Casino Resort. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
About the Role
- Service and Quality: Deliver exceptional guest service, preparing and serving all food and beverages according to approved recipes and quality standards.
- Point of Sale Operations: Accurately enter orders into the point of sale system, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and standard daily cleaning/maintenance as needed, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Mandatory Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid work permit, have completed Food Handler or ServSafe certification, and possess a cooperative and friendly nature.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cash-handling experience and ability to communicate effectively.
Work Environment
The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 25 pounds, and maintain attention to detail in a noisy setting. A valid gaming license and evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S. are required.
