What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Attendant position at Black Oak Casino?
SUMMARY: Responsible for effectively directing motor and foot traffic in the Casino parking areas, for Guests and Team Members safety.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
- Assists Guests promptly and courteously by safely directing their vehicles through the parking areas.
- Directs Guest and Team Members, where necessary, to park in designated areas.
- Ensures a maximum level of Guest service and satisfaction is achieved.
- Keeps regularly informed of Casino activities and events in order to respond to Guest enquiries.
- Greets Guests and Team Members in a cordial and pleasant manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- May be required to possess and maintain a valid California drivers license and a Black Oak Casino drivers permit.
- Must be able to communicate using a portable 2-way radios and/or cell phone.
- Must possess working knowledge of traffic signs and signals, and be able to read diagrams and maps.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
- Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
Physical Demands:
- Required to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with assistance.
- Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 100% of job time.
- Required to work around moving machinery with possible exposure to vibration, dust, gas, steam or chemicals.
- Required to wear protective equipment such as mask, earplugs, gloves, eyewear, weather gear, etc.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Potential exposure to infectious disease.
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
