Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an excellent dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring proper food handling practices are followed.
- Bus tables and assist with clearing dining areas to maintain a tidy environment.
- Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for use.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques is a plus.
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen.
