Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality and an eagerness to contribute to a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete before they leave the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards before serving to guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced staff members.
