Hazardous Materials Hauler

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Hazardous Materials Hauler to join our team. This role requires a professional driver who is responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous materials to designated locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to hazardous materials as well as oil and gas locations.

Duties

• Operate semi with tanker for the transportation of hazardous materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Plan and follow designated routes for efficient delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including manifests and delivery confirmations.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous materials, following all safety protocols to prevent spills or accidents.
• Stay updated on industry regulations regarding hazardous materials handling and transportation.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for transporting hazardous materials.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A commitment to safety practices in handling hazardous materials is essential.
• Must be willing to work night shift and weekends as needed.
• Previous experience in hazardous materials transportation is preferred but not mandatory.
