Black Owl Recruiting is sourcing a Registered Nurse to join our reputable client's ACF team in Far Rockaway, NY. The Registered Nurse (RN) in an Adult Care Facility (ACF) is responsible for providing direct nursing care and overseeing the overall health and well-being of residents in accordance with current standards of nursing practices, regulations, and facility policies. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care is delivered in a compassionate and respectful manner.

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
- Monitor changes in resident conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, families, and the care team.
- Ensure accurate documentation of resident care, medication administration, and clinical observations.
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other care staff.
- Participate in care planning meetings and help develop individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and infection control protocols.
- Provide health education and support to residents and their families.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- UAS experience is a MUST!!!
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Prior experience in an adult care facility, long-term care, or similar setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM
- $100K/annually
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Salary : $100,000
