About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Specialist to join our client's team in Butte, Montana. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in process development.
The ideal candidate will have developed strong research and development capabilities and a knack for innovative solutions to technically challenging problems. They will be responsible for designing and developing chemical processes and equipment for manufacturing operations, conducting research to develop new chemical products and processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement chemical processes and equipment for manufacturing operations
- Conduct research to develop new chemical products and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
- Implement and maintain process control systems, including logic controllers
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to chemical processes
- Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures in the workplace
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Master's or Ph.D. desirable)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in process development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environment
- Strong work ethic and team player attributes
- U.S. Citizenship
- International travel required
