Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description
We are sourcing a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a reputable client in Butte, Montana.
This role involves the development of complete designs and individual components, presenting technical challenges and opportunities that evolve rapidly.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of assigned projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project requirements to resolve product/process problems and support the development of new products/processes.
- Create design specifications, analyses, and make recommendations for management approval.
- Design mechanical components for prototype, pre-commercial, and commercial products in an advanced product development environment.
- Lead or participate as a team member in assigned projects from inception to completion.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and leadership capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET Accredited).
- Ten years of experience in Mechanical Design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Finite Element Analysis expertise (ANSYS preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship.
