- Tenant Management:
- Serve as first point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Coordinate lease renewals and distribution of lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate tenant records in property management system.
- Communicate property updates, policies, and procedures to tenants.
- Manage rent collection processes and follow up on late payments.
- Application Screening:
- Review and verify rental applications, including credit history, income, rental history, and references.
- Conduct background checks and ensure compliance before lease approval.
- Communicate application statuses to prospective tenants.
- Maintenance Management:
- Serve as point of contact for maintenance requests from tenants.
- Coordinate repair requests with maintenance teams or contractors.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and tenant satisfaction.
- Track and monitor maintenance requests to ensure quality work.
- Rental Showings:
- Schedule and conduct property showings for prospective tenants.
- Provide details about the property, lease terms, amenities, and community features.
- Follow up with prospects post-showing to answer questions and encourage applications.
- General Administrative Support:
- Assist with filing, document preparation, and reporting.
- Maintain organized records of leases, applications, tenant communication, and maintenance requests.
- Assist with property marketing efforts (e.g., updating listings and social media).
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields is preferred but not required
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
