What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Agent position at Black Rhino Group?
Overview
We are seeking a motivated Field Agent in the Austin, TX area. The field agent may, at times, be required to travel within the metroplex or even outside of the metroplex dependent on assignment.
Assignments may require uniformed (Level3) or plain clothed (Level4) work settings. Pay range will be dependent on site and contract. Agent may be used for multiple contracts and sites at any given moment.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Black Rhino Groups core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Provide the client with concierge-level security at the campus locations and/or events;
- Deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise.
- Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.
- Conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports.
- Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
- Secure the client's campus perimeter;
- Review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as needed.
- Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Skills:
- Proficiency in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Concierge-level customer service experience.
- Able to complete thorough and accurate investigations and reports.
- Access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring experience.
- Strong problem resolution skills.
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office.

The Black Rhino Group requires all Field Agents to have a PPO License (Level 4). You will be required to work posts as assigned, and this may require you to work uniformed posts (Level 3). The minimum pay rate for these posts will be equal to or greater than 25$/hour, and you are required to have all relevant duty gear as well as all relevant PPO gear.

Pay: $24.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 56 per week
