The Environmental Service Technician Lead plays a key role in coordinating and overseeing the activities of team members to achieve organizational goals. This individual fosters a positive work environment, promoting effective communication and team bonding, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality work. The ES Technician Lead performs all essential duties of an Environmental Services Technician. The position available is:
- Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, benefited. Day Shift M-F, with occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
Essential Duties Include:
- Coordinates and supervises the activities of team members. Monitors the daily performance of team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
- Establishes work schedules. Monitors and controls overtime. Reviews and corrects timesheets, reviews and responds to time off requests, and coordinates payroll for team members.
- Recommends and implements measures to motivate team members to improve methods, performance, quality, and efficiency of assigned work.
- Provides feedback and administrative duties for personnel actions such as hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensures high-quality work by reviewing and researching concerns or complaints and recommending corrective action as appropriate.
- Performs administrative duties including reporting related to time, compliance, and record keeping required to meet regulatory guidelines (Joint Commission, OSHA, Meri transport license, etc.).
- Performs all essential duties of the Environmental Services Technician positions as required. Assists Maintenance Mechanic, Master Carpenter, Master Electrician, and Groundskeeper as needed.
Educational Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associate degree in a Supervisory/Management or related field preferred
- 1 years of related work experience required
- 3 years of related work experience preferred
- Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Required to complete OSHA training and CHEST certification within 1 year of the date of hire
