CERTIFIED and REGISTERED DIETITIANS!
Black River Health is in search of an ambitious and visionary individual to serve as the Clinical Dietitian in our Nutrition Services Department. Our Clinical Dietitian will provide medical nutrition therapy to patients as part of the multidisciplinary team in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Available positions :
Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, 8-hour shifts five days a week, benefited

Completes inpatient assessments to identify patients’ nutritional needs and documents patients’ care plans in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Documents findings, updates, and charge coding to the patient EMR within 24 hours of a patient visit
Provides Nutrition Services staff with patient direct education.
Responds to all nutrition consult requests from medical staff and provide patient / family with appropriate diet education or informative materials in accordance with the request.
Plans and hosts Diabetes Education Support Group bi-monthly, working with Volunteer Services to coordinate.
Reviews all patient menus, contract food service menus, cafeteria menus, and recipes to ensure they are compliant with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics guidelines or contract food service food program guidelines. Utilizes organization approved software / systems for nutritional analysis documentation.
Develops and maintains an overall nutrition services department knowledge base in order to oversee activities and problem-solve in the absence of or as designated by the director.
Educational Qualifications / Skills :
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college / university in Dietetics / Food and Nutrition
Must have a Certified Dietitian credential through the State of Wisconsin DSPS and be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Minimum one year experience in clinical dietetics preferred
Obtains Medicare Certification for insurance billing purposes
Certified Diabetes Educator preferred
