What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Driver position at Black Rock Truck Group Inc?
Black Rock Truck Group has an immediate need for a Parts Delivery Driver to join our rapidly growing team in Yonkers, NY. The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering parts to our customers.
This position is Full Time with Benefits
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors.
- Coordinate delivery and pickup needs with the Warehouse Manager.
- Complete paperwork at the time of delivery and ensure recipient signatures are obtained.
- Load trucks, and account for all paperwork, undelivered parts, and returns.
- Maintain the basic upkeep and cleanliness of delivery vehicles.
- Able to safely drive vehicles with automatic transmission.
- Good understanding of the area and able to navigate from maps or directions. Delivery areas include NY, NJ, and CT.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Position Requirements:
- Able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods.
- Able to push/pull warehouse equipment such as hand trucks loaded with weights up to 340 lbs.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 85 lbs.
- Able to operate an industrial forklift which requires climbing into and out of the driver's seat two steps from the ground.
