Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Decorate cakes and other desserts to meet customer specifications and enhance visual appeal.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Package baked goods for sale or catering orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Skills
- Knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
- Experience in cake decorating and presentation skills (preferred)
- Experience in food handling and preparation within a commercial kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
