Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Linehaul Operations Manager to oversee and manage our linehaul operations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the trucking industry, with a strong background in logistics, fleet management, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of linehaul operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize route efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
• Manage and maintain a fleet of trucks, ensuring regular maintenance and timely repairs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of drivers, dispatchers, and support staff.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
• Develop and manage the linehaul budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the trucking industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
