Host/Host
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Take reservations and manage the waiting list
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Assist with setting tables and arranging decorations for special events
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Knowledge of guest services and ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with food service procedures and restaurant operations
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for take out orders is a plus or ability to learn
*Positions are currently open for part-time with the ability to transition into a fulltime position.
