- Present menus, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed while following proper food safety protocols.
- Utilize OpenTable for reservations and manage seating arrangements effectively.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred.
- Previous experience in the food service or food industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Aloha POS systems or cash register operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing help and support to guests.
- Understanding of food preparation techniques and adherence to food safety standards.
