Description and Qualifications
The Private Owner Housekeeping role is a labor-intensive and fast-paced position responsible for cleaning all privately owned homes on property. The Private Owner Housekeeping team is responsible for upkeeping the owner’s homes and ensuring they are cared for according to not only Blackberry standards but the owner’s preferences as well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must be detail-oriented in all cleaning aspects
- Can recall important owner related details
- Load supplies for the day and re load at the end of the day
- Attend line up each morning to receive assignments
- Perform Touch Ups, Stayovers and Departure Cleans in the given time frame
- Bring laundry to the operations center for pick up by the laundry facility
- Complete inventories for cleaners and laundry in Private Homes
- Ability to be friendly and maintain good relationships with coworkers and owners
- Protect our equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Communicate with different departments to maintain the homes (maintenance, floral, etc.)
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position,
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our owners and guests.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- None
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Some cleaning experience preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic knowledge and understanding of math
REASONING ABILITY
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Very physical work, always moving around, must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to get on hands and knees to scrub floors
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart
- Repeatedly going up and down flights of stairs.
- Must be able to work around cleaning supplies/chemicals
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Working in owner homes and areas around the property
- 5,200 acres Blackberry Mountain property
