We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to both Grill 19 and our event center at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive working environment.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering food and kitchen supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Monitor food presentation and taste, making adjustments as necessary to meet guest expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Attend weekly staff meetings with other department heads.
