What are the responsibilities and job description for the BOH Concierge position at Blackberry?
The concierge team is responsible for ensuring that all guest activities, spa services, and dining times are booked and that all guests requested expectations are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Completes pre-arrival emails and calls prior to guest arrival to book activities, spa services, and schedule dining times
- Be a point of contact for guests prior to their arrival to inform guests of special happening during their stay and to answer any questions they may have
- Gathers/tracks guest information and preferences by maintaining the guest database
- Creates unique memorial experiences for our guests
- Reviews traces daily and confirms information with other departments
- Audit activity and spa bookings to ensure accuracy
- Communicates accurate guest information & preferences to other team members & departments
- Monitors website content to ensure accurate even information is posted
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- None
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Hotel Front of House operations experience preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
- Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic knowledge and understanding of math
REASONING ABILITY
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
- Must be able to listen carefully to guest requests and execute them in a timely manner
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- General office
- 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property
- 5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain property
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
