What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Attendant position at Blackberry?
The Pool Bar Attendant is responsible for providing 5-star service to our guests when visiting the juice bar and pool at the Wellhouse. This position is the front-line impression of the food and beverage service that our guests will receive when visiting the Wellhouse.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members and managers, and interact with our guests. Must have a positive attitude & willingness to perform to the highest ability daily, have good organizational and disciplined skills, be guest-focused, and be passionate about being part of something great and making a difference.
Uniform: spa coordinator pants, shirt, and shoes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Scheduled Hours: Varied according to occupancy weekends are required
- Provide a warm, friendly, and attentive service both at the juice bar and poolside for all guests

Preparation and Execution of the Following Non-Alcoholic Drinks:
- Coffee
- Espresso
- Fresh Juices
- Fresh Smoothies
- Espresso Service
- Preparation and Sale of the Following Alcoholic Drinks:
- Wines by the Glass
- Beer
- Pre Mixed Liquor Drinks (margarita, etc.)
- Sale of Premade/Packaged Food
- Restock or premade food and discard expired premade foods
- Restock all alcohol daily/weekly
- Charging of all alcohol/drinks, and food as it is sold to guests
- Uniform: Changes Seasonally. HR will direct
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the juice bar
- Complete the daily task list
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members and managers, and interact with our guests.
Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma
- Microsoft Office computer skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic math skills
REASONING ABILITY
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property
- Must be able to work in a calm and quiet spa setting
