Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction of new and renovation of existing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, specifically within the healthcare sector, and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with nursing home construction is essential.
Responsibilities :
- Project Planning & Management : Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and resources. Oversee all phases of the construction process from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
- Budget Control : Manage project budgets effectively, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budget. Prepare and submit regular budget reports.
- Scheduling : Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time. Proactively identify and mitigate potential schedule delays.
- Contract Administration : Manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Subcontractor Management : Select, manage, and evaluate subcontractors. Coordinate their work to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Control : Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Safety Management : Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the project site.
- Client Communication : Maintain regular communication with clients, providing project updates and addressing any concerns. Build strong client relationships.
- Team Leadership : Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Problem Solving : Proactively identify and resolve project challenges and issues.
- Reporting : Prepare and submit regular project reports to management, including progress updates, budget reports, and risk assessments.
- Travel : Travel extensively (weekly, Monday-Friday) to project sites as required.
