Our client is a leader in the technology and personal care accessory market with over 25 years of experience in the space. They have 150 employees across the US and Globally. They are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to oversee their financial strategy and operations across 10 brands and managing over $200 million in revenue. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and strategic decision-making that supports our growth and innovation in the digital accessory and personal care sector.
Responsibilities :
- Financial Oversight : Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead the budgeting process; develop and monitor budget forecasts to support strategic business decisions. Provide variance analysis and financial insights to the executive team.
- Internal Controls : Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including tax strategies and audits.
- Cost Management : Analyze and control costs to improve profitability. Implement cost accounting systems to track and reduce manufacturing expenses, overheads, and other operational costs.
- Team Leadership : Direct and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data for financial analysis.
- Strategic Planning : Assist in strategic planning by providing financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, or new product lines.
- Reporting : Prepare detailed reports for management and board meetings, highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and forecasts.
