**Job Title:** Team Leader, Authorization Team (Medical Billing)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee the authorization team in medical billing. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues, leading meetings, onboarding new employees, and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor the authorization team to ensure goals are met.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to authorization requests, denials, and billing.
- Communication: Lead meetings and ensure open communication among team members, management, and clients.
- Employee Development: Onboard new employees, provide training, and ensure their success in the role.
- SLA Management: Ensure all SLAs are met and exceeded.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of authorization requests and billing processes.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes and procedures are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Leadership: Proven experience leading a team, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical billing, authorization, and related processes and regulations.
