Senior Bookkeeper / Paralegal

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Paralegal to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial and legal tasks, including bookkeeping, title closing, and other paralegal duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, legal procedures, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws
- Manage and oversee junior bookkeeping staff
- Manage all aspects of real estate closings, including preparing closing documents, conducting title searches, and coordinating with lenders and clients
- Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts and agreements
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing files and preparing exhibits
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in legal matters
