Position Summary :
The Production Administrator performs a wide variety of administrative tasks in the Production Control and Manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage planning and creation of production orders for the Manufacturing department to fulfill customer demands.
- Conducts needed basic analyses on production activities and inventory movement, so as to help drive efficiency in the related workflows.
- Requires close interdepartmental communication with the Manufacturing, Warehousing, Customer Service, Sales, and Tech Support teams.
- Prepares, prints and reviews production orders to ensure correct bill of material, routes, customer requirements are met prior to release to the manufacturing team.
- Checks availability of material required to build manufacturing products.
- Notifies Purchasing Coordinator of any special components required on custom products and any inventory discrepancies.
- Creates labels for product identification. Operates and maintains label printers as needed.
- Assists in the cycle count process.
- Provides additional support and backs up other Production functions as needed.
