Job Details
Position Description:
- Municipal client representation as Township or Borough Engineer, serving as a primary or supporting municipal consultant
- Attend and participate in municipal meetings to represent clients
- Manage and review subdivision and land development plans for conformance with municipal ordinances
- Oversee stormwater management design, detention basin rehabilitation, and infrastructure improvements
- Assist with state and local permitting processes
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments
- Provide construction support services, including contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high-quality municipal services
- Perform business development to help facilitate growth in municipal and utility engineering, including securing new municipal clients and expanding services to existing ones
Qualification Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 10 years of experience preferred
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in PA is required
- Experience with:
- Municipal Engineering and municipal client representation as Township or Borough Engineer
- Subdivision and land development plan review, zoning, grading, and stormwater management
- MS-4 Programs (including PRPs) on behalf of municipal clients
- Public Works design and infrastructure rehabilitation projects
- Construction administration, budgeting, and escrow account management
- Some AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Business development experience and/or existing municipal client relationships strongly preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
