In this role, you ll be part of an innovative team that plays a critical role in integrating video and imagery into the robust ArcGIS ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and test the ArcGIS Excalibur application, ensuring high-quality and scalable code.
Architect efficient, reusable, and maintainable solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript to meet complex user needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, design, and resolve challenges related to application architecture and development.
Integrate diverse technologies and services into the ArcGIS Excalibur platform, working closely with other teams at Esri.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance issues to enhance user experience and application reliability.
Contribute to the overall direction of the product and technology stack while staying up-to-date with the latest trends in web development.
Qualifications
5 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Expertise in front-end technologies such as SASS, HTML5, and CSS.
Solid experience working with web services and REST APIs to integrate external data sources.
Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, concise communication with both technical and non-technical team members.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GIS/Esri technologies and the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online platforms.
Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
