Laundromat Attendant

Objective:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundromat Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the laundromat, assisting customers, ensuring the laundry process runs smoothly, and adhering to all policies and procedures. This is a key role in ensuring that our customers have a positive and pleasant experience while visiting our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assist them with their laundry needs, and address any questions or concerns promptly.
• Timeliness: Arrive on time for shifts and be ready to work. Ensure tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes.
• Cleanliness: Follow the daily cleaning schedule, maintain the cleanliness of the facility, including laundry machines, floors, restrooms, and customer areas. Clean up spills or messes as soon as they occur.
• Laundry Processing: Handle wash, dry, and fold services for customer drop-offs, ensuring all orders are completed quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Machine Maintenance: Report any malfunctions or issues with machines to management. Keep an eye on machine operations and ensure they are functioning properly.
• Follow Policies and Procedures: Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and cleaning protocols. Ensure the safety and security of the laundromat at all times.
• Stay on Task: Demonstrate excellent time management by staying focused on the tasks at hand, including assisting customers, maintaining the facility, and completing laundry orders in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or laundromat environment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move laundry bags or basket.
• Must be reliable and responsible.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

• Blackfoot, ID 83221: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
