Position Summary
The Snack Bar Attendant will provide accurate, friendly and professional food and beverage services in multiple venues and prepares food and beverage orders in a professional and efficient manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take and process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Provide information on menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Handle member inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area.
- Cash Handling:
- Operate cash registers and handle member & guest transactions accurately.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and return change as needed.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and restock inventory as needed.
- Perform routine checks on stock levels and report shortages.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Keep the snack bar area, dining tables, and service areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines in food handling and sanitation.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
- Assist in other areas of the snack bar as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices and ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
