SUMMARY: The Inventory Integration Specialist oversees warehouse teams during facility consolidations, WWM implementations, vendor sourcing and management, and cycle count audits. This Specialist is crucial in helping BlackHawk maintain accurate inventory levels while minimizing losses and inefficiencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personally exhibits, recruits, and coaches associate consistent with Core Behaviors.
- Promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Perform cycle count audits for warehouses and customer consignment inventory. Adjust cycle count setups as necessary and provide recommendations on ABC class.
- Generate bin and item reports for P21.
- Design pick path with the on-site team for optimal efficiency.
- Manage racking vendors during facility implementation projects.
- Source, Schedule, and manage vendors during facility consolidation projects.
- Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions and support decision-making.
- Conducts regular training with warehouse personnel and branch customer service teams.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues that arise during and after implementation, facility consolidations, or cycle count audits.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be customer service-focused
- Must be a team player
- Proficient software skills, or ability to learn:
- Prophet 21, CribMaster, AutoCrib, Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of barcode scanners
- Basic understanding of inventory Management
- Background in Industrial Distribution preferred
- Ability to plan and prioritize
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to work individually on a project
- Meet project deadlines
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- No direct supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Experience in a similar position preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
- Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _30_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
