SUMMARY: The Warehouse Assistant - Bin Stocker is responsible for managing inventory at customer sites, delivering and stocking inventory, and assisting with warehouse operations. This position ensures timely and accurate deliveries, maintains proper inventory levels, and upholds safety standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personally exhibits, recruits, and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors.
- Promotes a culture of safety and ensures all safety protocols are followed.
- Visits customer site(s) and assesses stocking levels to maintain min/max inventory levels.
- Creates quotes/orders and delivers stock to customer sites as needed.
- Stocks vending machines when applicable.
- Manages customer relationships and attends meetings as required.
- Delivers and picks up customer products promptly and verifies required documentation.
- Performs daily safety inspections on equipment and vehicles.
- Receives, verifies, and organizes incoming shipments.
- Sorts, stages, and properly labels stock items in the warehouse.
- Picks, packages, and ships products per customer orders.
- Ensures work aligns with contractual requirements and ISO processes.
- Responds to commonly occurring issues using established procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supporting software.
- Understanding of hardware devices and vending machines.
- Industrial MRO and tooling product knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with route planning and DOT regulations.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role required; 2-4 years preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposure to various elements such as loud sounds, dirt, and heavy lifting.
- Frequent changes in schedule, including some weekends and evenings.
- Regular use of computers, tools, and warehouse equipment.
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
- Requires close vision and the ability to focus.
