Blackhawk Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our assistants play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education.

In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, help set up for surgery, and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.

This is a full- time position, with a flexibleschedule and availability needed Monday- Friday with rotating Saturdays.

• Compensation: $17.50-24 per hour, for each hour worked*
