Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the Shipper is a key role in supporting Blackline's shipping operations. The Shipper is responsible for shipping & fulfilling Blackline's world class devices, ensuring our customers receive their life-saving devices on time, and in the highest quality condition.

Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the Shipper is a key role in supporting Blackline's shipping operations. The Shipper is responsible for shipping & fulfilling Blackline's world class devices, ensuring our customers receive their life-saving devices on time, and in the highest quality condition.
Data Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, with preference given to those with a relevant Technical Degree
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a Shipping/Fulfillment role
- Extensive knowledge of major couriers - FedEx, Purolator, UPS, DHL, etc. including how to operate their respective software packages
- Proficiency in working effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in tasks
- Experience preparing international shipments including customs documents
- A positive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork, actively contributing to achieving high levels of production and maintaining quality standards
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Moderate experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Shipping experience in Freight is considered an asset
- IATA/TDG Dangerous Goods certification is considered an asset
- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents electronically or manually
- Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods, including assembling packages, weighing them, and tracking costs
- Ship goods ensuring deadlines are achieved and complete documentation is included
- Prepare, wrap, strap, and label pallets for shipping
- Perform loading and unloading of goods from trucks
- Repetitive lifting and moving of goods weighing approximately 50lbs
- Receive and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems
- Monitoring and communicating shipment status in real-time
- Resolve discrepancies such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc
- Order shipping supplies as required
- Manual handling of incoming and outgoing product
- Standing for extended periods
- Operating hand tools, dollies, and lift tables
- Wearing PPE as required
- Perform general duties, and assist the Fulfillment team as needed
