Blacklock Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cross Functional Associate to join a strong, mid market generalist firm. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to drive positive change and deliver measurable results for clients.
Positions: Associate/Senior Associate/Vice President - dependent on experience.
Locations: New York, Chicago, Dallas, LA
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior team members and clients to tackle complex financial and operational issues, such as due diligence (both financial and operational), value creation and preservation, business transformation, bankruptcy preparation, and investment banking activities (including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and capital raising).
- Support the preparation of client presentations, reports, and other deliverables, summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement turnaround initiatives and monitor progress against established milestones and targets.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for value creation.
- Assist in the management of client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and maintaining regular communication to ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial advisory, restructuring, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
