Blacklock Financial are partnered with a large, boutique bank who are looking to add an Associate to their ranks. The Associate would sit within their energy transition team.
Salary Band - $175,000 - $225,000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in and lead the execution of M&A, restructuring and recapitalisation transactions as well as equity and debt financings
• Work with a team on the preparation of pitch books and live deal materials including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses
• Direct the preparation financial analyses to include valuation, DCF, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies analyses
• Analysing business plans and participating in due diligence sessions
• Develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching
BACKGROUND:
• An MBA and 1 years of investment banking experience as an Associate or an undergraduate degree and 3 years of investment banking experience
• Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed technical skills including valuation and modelling
• Ability to manage direct junior teams on a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
• Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player
• Experience in the power/infrastructure/energy sectors are preferred
• Series 63 & 79 preferred
