Job Summary:
The Shipping Specialist is responsible for preparing and packing individual customer orders. This includes selecting the correct products, ensuring packaging is secure, and maintaining a smooth workflow in our fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking & Packing: Carefully pick and pack individual customer orders according to packing slips, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Labeling & Documentation: Print and attach shipping labels to packed orders, double-checking addresses and order details.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect items for accuracy, damage, or defects before packing, ensuring every order meets our high-quality standards.
- Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized packing station to promote efficiency and a safe working environment.
- Packaging Inventory: Monitor and report stock levels of packing materials such as boxes, tape, and filler to prevent disruptions in order fulfillment.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all orders are securely packed to prevent damage during shipping and enhance the unboxing experience for our customers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Previous experience in a shipping or order fulfillment role is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to constantly lift up to 40 lbs, bend, stretch, stand during entire shift and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing an excellent customer experience.
