What You’ll Do
- Create and review structural designs, including plans, layouts, sections, and details, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Perform structural calculations and oversee designs for concrete structures, steel structures, and foundations.
- Collaborate across departments to meet project deliverables and resolve design conflicts or deviations.
- Guide and check CAD designers and drafters, ensuring high-quality design deliverables.
- Maintain and update design standards while adhering to best practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience:
- 10 years in civil/structural design within heavy industry environments.
- Proven expertise in designing concrete and steel structures, including foundations, mill buildings, equipment supports, and platforms.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Revit, AutoCAD-2D, with 3D modeling (Navisworks) preferred.
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification in any U.S. state with NCEES records account.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of codes, standards, and constructability principles.
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
